The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has his takedown stuffed

and Freeman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Freeman.
Freeman gets underhooks to prevent Jones's takedown attempt.
Jones is looking for a takedown.

Freeman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Freeman throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Freeman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Freeman decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Freeman has taken the fight into the clinch.

Freeman connects with a right hand that leaves Jones sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Freeman!
