The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cordeiro to the mat! Cordeiro manages to get full guard.
Cordeiro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Myers wants to pass the guard but Cordeiro is keeping the position.
Cordeiro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Myers is controlling him.
Myers forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Myers is keen to just control but Cordeiro is a slippery customer.
Myers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
