Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Aoki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee throws a body punch but Aoki moves out of range.
Lee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Aoki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aoki throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Aoki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aoki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Aoki tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aoki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt.
Shinya Aoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee.
Aoki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Aoki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Lee is trying to control but can't.
Lee works his way to full guard. Good work.

Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aoki's guard.

Aoki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Aoki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Aoki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lee tries to hold on but Aoki postures up.

Aoki looking to secure an arm triangle but Lee defends it well.
Lee is looking to improve his position but Aoki isn't that keen on the idea.

Aoki wants to finish this one by submission but Lee is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Aoki.
Lee is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Lee tries to hold on but Aoki pushes him away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lee is working to get back to half guard.

Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Aoki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aoki is working away from the top position though.
Lee flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lee throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Lee is kicking away at Aoki from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Aoki grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Lee trying to push Aoki off... Lee taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
