Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes to the cage accompanied by McGee. Creed has chosen Apollo Creed, Deck of Jack as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Creed as Mcgee shoots in.

Mcgee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mcgee decides to stand back up.

Creed shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mcgee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Creed wants to sweep here but Mcgee controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Creed tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Creed is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mcgee prevents Creed from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mcgee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but Creed shows good takedown defense.

Mcgee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Creed on his heels. He'll look to pass Creed's guard now, I'm sure.

Creed stuffs the takedown.

It looks like Timothy Mcgee has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcgee throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Creed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mcgee's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mcgee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Creed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Creed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! Mcgee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Creed throws a right and a left that Mcgee avoids nicely.
Creed throws a nice looking combination but Mcgee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Creed tries a head kick but it misses.

Mcgee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Creed to the mat! Creed manages to get full guard.

Mcgee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Creed wants to get back to his feet but Mcgee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Creed wants to stand up but Mcgee is controlling him.

Creed seems keen to control Mcgee's posture.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Timothy Mcgee has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mcgee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Creed feints with a jab and clips Mcgee right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Mcgee is sent crashing into the canvas and Creed leaps in for the kill! Mcgee tries to get to his feet but Creed is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Mcgee is in need of a savior and steps in!
