Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rold is looking to slow Jouppi down with leg kicks.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rold is defended easily by Jouppi.
Rold closes the distance and clinches up with Jouppi, looking for a takedown. Rold pushes Jouppi against the cage but Jouppi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A lazy body kick from Rold
and Jouppi counters with a series of strikes. Rold will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rold throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rold swings for the body but Jouppi moves out of range.
Rold misses with a head kick.
Jouppi scores with a punch to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jouppi throws a leg kick but Rold sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jouppi lands a really nice looking cross but Rold seems unphased.
Jouppi misses with a hook. Rold ducked under it nicely.
Rold dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jouppi. That did some damage!

Jouppi throws a nice looking combination but Rold bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jouppi thows a body shot but no joy.
Jouppi looks to land a combination but Rold avoids it well.

Rold throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rold fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jouppi throws a jab when Rold was well out of range.
Rold pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Jouppi stalks Rold and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rold's face. Rold staggers backwards, shaken.

Rold throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jouppi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rold is in Jouppi's guard.

Jouppi can't keep his opponent in guard - Rold advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rold is keen to just control but Jouppi is a slippery customer.

Rold is just content to waste time from the top position. Jouppi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Rold working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jouppi's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rold is looking to work some ground and pound but Jouppi has wrist control.
Rold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jouppi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jouppi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rold drops back looking for a leg! Jouppi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jouppi manages to kick Rold off! Rold jumps back into Jouppi's guard.

A close round but Enrique Rold will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jouppi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rold throws the kick towards the body but Jouppi avoids it.
Rold shoots for a takedown but Jouppi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rold moves out of range of the strikes.
Jouppi stuffs the takedown attempt from Rold. Rold gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jouppi throws a good cross that connects.
Enrique Rold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Rold counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rold pushing down on Jouppi's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Rold frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rold moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jouppi has worked his arm free - good work by Jouppi!
Jouppi is not content to let Rold control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rold thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rold sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jouppi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rold wants to control but Jouppi is keeping him busy.
Rold in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Rold fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Rold tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Rold tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jouppi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Rold is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jouppi sees it coming and defends easily.
Jouppi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jouppi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rold works his way into full mount!
Rold sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Rold trying to control but Jouppi is having none of it.
Jouppi wants to control but Rold is having none of it.
Rold thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Jouppi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rold looking to control but Jouppi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Enrique Rold showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jouppi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Rold takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Rold manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jouppi on his heels. He'll look to pass Jouppi's guard now, I'm sure.

Rold is pressing down on Jouppi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jouppi is holding on for now.
Enrique Rold is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Jouppi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jouppi tries to get out of the position.
