Monelli falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Monelli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davis throws a body punch but Monelli moves out of range.

and Monelli counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Davis thinking.
Davis loads up on a big right hand but Monelli slips the punch.

Monelli shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Davis sprawls well. Davis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Monelli gets slowly back to his feet.

The referee asks Monelli politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Monelli prefers to stall for the moment though.
