Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kennedy momentarily.
Matsumoto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kennedy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kennedy throws a leg kick which misses Matsumoto's front leg but catches the back leg as Matsumoto tries to avoid it.
Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Matsumoto sprawls well. Matsumoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet.
Matsumoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kennedy moves away.
Kennedy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
