Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexis Texas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miqel Marthyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miqel Marthyr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexis Texas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miqel Marthyr!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marthyr lands with a straight right. Texas didn't see that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marthyr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Texas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marthyr misses with a body punch
and Texas counters with a good, hard body kick but Marthyr shrugs it off.
Texas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marthyr.
Texas tries to land a front kick but Marthyr steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nice takedown defense from Texas. No joy for Marthyr on that attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Texas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Texas swings for the body but Marthyr moves out of range.
Marthyr fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Miqel Marthyr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Marthyr or perhaps it was just good defense by Texas which made him look bad.
Alexis Texas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miqel Marthyr.
Marthyr looks winded!
Marthyr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Texas.
Texas looks to land a body kick but Marthyr moved away.
Marthyr misses with a wild body shot.
Texas looks for the body kick but Marthyr saw that one coming.
Texas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Texas drops Marthyr with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Marthyr looks back up at him and smiles so Texas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Miqel Marthyr has been cut.
Texas keeps Marthyr at a distance using the push kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Texas.
Marthyr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alexis Texas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Texas and Marthyr are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Texas throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Marthyr into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Texas knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
