The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weber closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ioannidis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Weber to keep the fight standing.
Ioannidis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Weber fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Weber punishes Ioannidis's body with a nice straight punch.
Ioannidis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ioannidis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Weber but Weber pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Weber's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ioannidis is holding on here and Weber must be using up a lot of energy. Ioannidis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Weber gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
