The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akihiro lands with a hook. Perry tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Akihiro.
Perry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Perry wants to clinch.
Akihiro lands a nice shot to the body.
Perry throws a nice looking combination but Akihiro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Akihiro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Perry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd cheers as Akihiro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perry doesn't seem phased though.
Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Akihiro manages to avoid it.
Perry darts in trying to clinch

and Akihiro counters with a nice right hand that sends Perry toppling to the canvas! Perry scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Akihiro finish him?!

Perry is rocked!
Akihiro fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Akihiro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Akihiro feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Perry collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
