Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Weiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiser gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Reynolds counters with a shoot takedown. Weiser fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Reynolds is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Reynolds takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Reynolds is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Weiser can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Reynolds has control of Weiser's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Weiser regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Weiser is desperately trying to improve his position but Reynolds has a good base and remains in mount.

Reynolds working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Weiser is doing well to defend. Reynolds seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Weiser is forced to tap and this one is over!
