Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Taylor Heales!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Heales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wallace sprawls well. Wallace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heales gets slowly back to his feet.
Heales shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wallace defends it nicely.
Heales wants to clinch.
Wallace misses with the combination.
Heales tries to clinch there but Wallace circles away.
Heales feints a jab promting Wallace to slip. Heales then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wallace slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like William Wallace has been cut.
Heales fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
William Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taylor Heales.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heales shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Heales fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wallace manages to avoid it.
Heales tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Wallace.

Wallace has managed to clinch.

Wallace gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Heales, up you get!
Heales tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wallace swivels and escapes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wallace lands a left and a right that send Heales crashing to the mat, dazed. Wallace thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Heales is rocked!
Nice body kick from Wallace.
Heales is still on wobbly legs! Can Wallace finish him?
Heales looks winded!

Wallace manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Heales on his heels. He'll look to pass Heales's guard now, I'm sure.

Wallace gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Wallace lands a huge takedown. Heales is out but the ref is slow to react and Wallace lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Heales lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
