Anderson comes into the arena with inner ninja blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
St Pierre has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Anderson gets underhooks to prevent St Pierre's takedown attempt.
St Pierre drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Anderson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
St Pierre wants to take the fight to the mat but Anderson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anderson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Anderson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends St Pierre stumbling backwards into the cage! St Pierre bounces back off the cage towards Anderson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Anderson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Anderson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
