Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and FedEx Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aaron Andrews has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aaron Andrews seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Andrews is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Funkyama knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Funkyama is not content to let Andrews control the position.

Andrews shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Funkyama pinned against the cage. Funkyama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Andrews walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Andrews keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Horrible takedown by Funkyama or perhaps it was just good defense by Andrews which made him look bad.

We're going to have a standup here because Aaron Andrews wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Funkyama shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrews tries to sprawl out of it but Funkyama keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andrews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Funkyama has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
