Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesco White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke the Fire. Miguel Leone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with the combination.
White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White looks to land a combination. Leone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Leone takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
White throws a head kick but Leone moves out of range.

White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Leone is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

White manages to break the clinch.

White has closed the distance and engaged Leone in a clinch.
Leone tries to score a body lock takedown but White shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
White digs a right hand into Leone's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Leone's gas tank.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
White looks to land a combination. Leone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
White misses with a double jab.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

White gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White throws a head kick but Leone moves out of range.

White scores with a one two! Leone had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
White lands a nice leg kick that just misses Leone's sensitive parts.
Leone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from White.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

White closes the distance and clinches.
White swings wildly with an uppercut but Leone uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leone avoids a punch combination nicely.
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
White throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Leone manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jesco White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Leone unloads with some shots from mount but White bucks and avoids them well.
White is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The referee warns White that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

BOOM! Leone connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Poor strikes thrown by Leone there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

You get the feeling that White really doesn't like being in this position too much.
White holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Leone tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Leone misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
White wants to get back to his feet.
White wants to control but Leone is having none of it.
Leone lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
White is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Leone can do to turn this around?

White bucks up and throws Leone to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
White shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Leone eats them both and turns towards White to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

White wants to get up but he can't break Leone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Leone wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment.

Leone has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.

White is pressed up against the cage. Leone has hold of a leg and is looking to drag White down to the mat. White avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

White bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Leone wants to take the fight to the mat but White manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

White rushes Leone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Leone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

White jumps into guard, dragging Leone to the mat.
Leone works over White with some ground and pound from guard.
Leone won't allow White to get back to his feet.

White is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Leone has White pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Leone pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending White tumbling to the mat - Leone dives into White's guard.
White wants to stand and escape but Leone is having none of it.

White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
