The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jackson.
Jackson tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jackson walks into a straight right hand from Hunt.

It looks like Daniel Jackson has been cut.
Hunt connects with a body shot that sends Jackson's belly button to the back.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mark Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt misses with a series of wild punches.
Hunt looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson blocks a head kick by Hunt.
Hunt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hunt ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson.
Hunt gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Hunt tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Jackson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Hunt buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Hunt!! Hunt is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Jackson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
