Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kem Molet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Mathison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathison has chosen The Sickness as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kem Molet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Mathison!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Molet shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mathison napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mathison sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mathison tries to roll over but Molet keeps him under control.
Mathison wants to control but Molet is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mathison manages to get to full guard.
Molet postures up.

Molet gets to his feet - Mathison follows without any prompting.

Molet is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mathison's half guard.

Molet got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mathison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Molet has managed to get both his arms back between Mathison's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mathison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Kem Molet wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mathison takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

A close round but David Mathison will probably get the nod.

Mathison shoots in but Molet avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mathison slips a jab and a cross from Molet.

Molet scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mathison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Molet's waist but Molet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mathison off to one side.
Kem Molet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Mathison.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Molet feints and as Mathison raises his hands in defense, Molet changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Molet tries to stand but Mathison is controlling from the bottom.
Mathison manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Mathison lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mathison throws a right and a left that both miss.

Molet doesn't manage to clinch there - Mathison circles away.

Molet forces Mathison back against the cage and clinches.
Molet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mathison has him pressed against the cage.
Mathison is trying to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Molet wants to break the clinch but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Molet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Molet wants to stand and escape but instead Mathison has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mathison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Molet is wriggling around but Mathison manages to pass to half guard.

Mathison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Molet keeps working.

I would just about give that final round to David Mathison.
I think Mathison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
