The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Acosta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Silva feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Acosta sprawling to the canvas! Acosta rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Silva finish him?!

Acosta is rocked!

It looks like Julio Acosta has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Acosta gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.
Acosta is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?

Silva tightens his grip and picks Acosta up, before dumping him to the ground. Acosta manages to land in guard.
Silva stands up over Acosta, holding on to his feet. Silva throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Acosta is out cold! Silva lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
