PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaa comes to the cage accompanied by Anna Molly by Incubus. Penn has chosen Go To Church as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Jaa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Jaa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Jaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Penn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Penn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jaa can pounce on him.
Penn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No joy there for Penn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Penn takes a swing at Jaa's ribcage but misses.
Jaa throws a head kick that half lands.

Penn throws the left hand but Jaa avoids the punch easily.
Jaa moves in looking to clinch but Penn pushes him off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
