The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sullivan drives through with a takedown into Adam's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Adam keeping full guard, as Sullivan tries to pass.
Sullivan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sullivan passes Adam's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sullivan is looking for a kimura but Adam is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sullivan to get the leverage.
Adam is looking for a sweep. Sullivan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Adam is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sullivan pulls his head out easily.
Sullivan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Adam moves into full guard.

Adam is looking for a triangle but Sullivan pushes his legs off easily.
Sullivan trying to control the position from guard on top but Adam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sullivan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Adam is keeping the position for now.

Adam is trying to control the position but Sullivan postures up.

Sullivan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Adam is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Adam has escaped and now he's on top!

Sullivan has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Adam doesn't defend quickly enough and Sullivan has managed to lock this one up! Can Adam escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sullivan on a fantastic submission victory.
