Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Mandrill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mandrill comes to the cage accompanied by Luigi's song. Ludwig Mandrill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mandrill checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

It looks like Melvin Lawler has been cut.

Lawler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mandrill is working away from the top position though.
Mandrill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lawler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mandrill around the waist but Mandrill pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mandrill is the winner by TKO! Mandrill jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ludwig Mandrill decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
