The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gowka has Bud up against the cage in a clinch.
Gowka tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bud just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bud is trying to maintain a safe position but Gowka gets an underhook and turns Bud into the cage.
Bud is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gowka is defending well for now.

It looks like Dan Gowka has been cut.

Bud is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gowka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bud to the mat. Bud regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

He's locked it up tight! Gowka's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Bud picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
