Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karim Said!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber tries to clinch but Said moves away

and Said counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Jobber is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Said is defending well for now.

Said breaks from the clinch.
Said should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jobber doesn't manage to clinch there - Said circles away.
Jobber fails to land with a series of punches.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Said.
Said controlling from side mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Said looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jobber is avoiding damage well.
Jobber struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jobber is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Said is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jobber dodges the ground and pound from Said.

Said thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jobber seems a little lost for a moment, as Said dominates the positioning.
Jobber struggling a bit here.
Said tries to stand but Jobber is controlling his head.
Jobber wants to control but Said postures up.
Jobber manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jobber is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Said's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Said's back!

Jobber keeps control of the position as Said tries to break free.

Said defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jobber tightening his grip on Said, looking for the choke.
Said can't escape the position.

Jobber has got one arm under Said's chin. This could be trouble... Said trying to control the other hand but Jobber gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Said has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ian Jobber decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
