Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoku drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belfort is trying to control Hoku's posture but Hoku avoids it.
Belfort avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hoku.
Belfort is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hoku asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hoku sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Belfort is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Hoku lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Hoku throws a strike aimed at the side of Belfort's head but Belfort avoids it well.

Belfort is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hoku is staying active.

Hoku scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Belfort to see if he's OK.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Hoku slow jab from Belfort misses its intended target.
Belfort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hoku pinned against the cage. Hoku gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Belfort looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Belfort wants to clinch up but Hoku keeps it at a distance.
Hoku throws a lazy right hand but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Belfort keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hoku.
Hoku has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Good exchange - Hoku coming out on top.
Belfort tries to clinch up but Hoku circles away and keeps his distance.
Hoku connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


Belfort is rocked!
Hoku lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Belfort is looking to close the distance but Hoku sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Belfort crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Belfort is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
