The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boston lands with a straight right. Tanner didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Dismas Tanner has been cut.

Tanner forces Boston back against the cage and clinches.
Boston is trying to force a seperation but Tanner has the dominant position.
Tanner tries to pull guard but Boston holds him up against the cage and eventually Tanner drops back down to his feet.
Tanner is trying to maintain a safe position but Boston gets an underhook and turns Tanner into the cage.
Boston wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tanner has him pressed against the cage.
Boston looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tanner prevents Boston from breaking the clinch.

Tanner jumps guard and drags Boston to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Boston postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tanner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Boston, into his guard.

Tanner passes to side control.

Boston is trying to get back to half guard.
Boston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tanner tries to stand but Boston is controlling his head.
Boston tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tanner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Boston tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tanner presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Tanner looking for a guillotine from mount but Boston is having none of it.
Boston is trying desperately to improve position.

Tanner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boston really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tanner trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Boston is trying to reverse the position but instead Tanner has taken his back - oops!

Tanner has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Boston is defending well but eventually Tanner manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Boston has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
