Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Gilante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Bouche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouche swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Gilante counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gilante stays in close to Bouche's body and controls the position.
Gilante postures up and lands a big shot to Bouche's brow.
Bouche really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gilante. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gilante advances position into side control!
Gilante lands an elbow.
Gilante really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bouche is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Gilante stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nice combo by Bouche! Oh, that's hurt him - Gilante falls to the canvas and Bouche follows him into side control.

Gilante is rocked!

It looks like Sammy Gilante has been cut.
Bouche wants to stand but Gilante has his arm trapped.
You can see the frustration on Gilante's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gilante is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gilante is controlling Bouche's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Gilante has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bouche tries to stand but as he's on his way up, Gilante locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - Bouche could be in trouble here! Yes, he's tapped! This one is all over!
