Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pes Barbos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Pes Barbos enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Barbos swinging wildly here.
Carwin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barbos staying out of range there.
Carwin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carwin throws a jab but it's blocked by Barbos.
Carwin misses with a low kick.

Barbos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carwin quickly recovers to half guard.
Barbos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Carwin is trying to get back to full guard.

Barbos is stalling here. Carwin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Barbos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Carwin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Barbos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carwin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Barbos lands a nice hook to Carwin's body. Carwin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Barbos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carwin manages to avoid it.

Whack! Carwin lands a heavy head kick that drops Barbos. The ref tackles Carwin to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Barbos was done.
