The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries to clinch but Young moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Adams with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Young lands a shot to the body.
Young lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Young blocks the elbow strike.

Young lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Adams or not.
Adams using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Young has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Young lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Grizzly Adams has been cut.
Young dips a shoulder and cracks Adams with a mighty uppercut! Adams falls back against the cage and Young unloads with a barrage of strikes! Adams is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Young screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
