Shake The Room as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damme has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Jean Claude Van Damme has been cut.
Manakain fails to land the takedown.
Manakain throws a right hand that misses
and Manakain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Manakain throws a left and a right that both miss

and Van Damme counters by clinching up.

Van Damme has Manakain pressed against the cage, preventing Manakain from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Van Damme fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Van Damme lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Van Damme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Van Damme throws the kick towards the body but Manakain avoids it.
Manakain on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Verush Manakain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Damme moves into range and connects with a jab.

Manakain throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Van Damme counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Manakain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Van Damme pinned against the cage. Van Damme gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Manakain is breathing heavily.

Van Damme rushes Manakain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Van Damme lands a left hand that snaps the head of Manakain backwards.
Manakain's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Van Damme swings wildly with an uppercut but Manakain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Manakain is trying to force a seperation but Van Damme has the dominant position.
Van Damme pushes Manakain back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Van Damme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Van Damme throws a head kick but Manakain moves out of range.
Van Damme tries a head kick but it misses.
Manakain falls off balance throwing a combination
and Van Damme counters with a nice uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Manakain. Those never looked like landing.
Manakain swats away the attempt to clinch by Van Damme.

and Van Damme counters with a stiff right hand.

Van Damme comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Manakain throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Van Damme lands a lovely overhand right.
Manakain throws a lazy right hand but Van Damme sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Manakain misses the jab.
Manakain falls off balance throwing a combination
and Van Damme counters with a nice uppercut.
Manakain swings widly with a right hand
and Van Damme counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Manakain throws a jab when Van Damme was well out of range.
Van Damme feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Manakain's calf.
Van Damme fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Manakain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Van Damme tries a head kick but it misses.

Manakain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Van Damme counters with a nice low kick that buckles Manakain's knee momentarily.

Van Damme lands a big head kick that sends Manakain tumbling to the mat! Van Damme takes a step backwards and waves Manakain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Manakain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Verush Manakain's cut is getting worse.

and Van Damme counters with a nice kick to the body.
Van Damme connects with a superb combination that knocks Manakain out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Van Damme before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Manakain!
