Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Schroeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zangief comes into the arena with Metallica - Some Kind Of Monster blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Schroeder takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Zangief throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schroeder sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Zangief ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Schroeder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zangief finds it's way round the side to connect with Schroeder's head.
Schroeder walks straight into a right hand from Zangief - that's dropped him! Zangief jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Schroeder from any more punishment! Schroeder complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ivan Zangief spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
