The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seamon gets caught flat footed, as The Drunk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Seamon wants to sweep but no luck.
The Drunk controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dan The Drunk wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Seamon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The Drunk is trying to maintain the position but Seamon is very close to passing his half guard.

The Drunk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for The Drunk.

The Drunk has his foot on Seamon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seamon works his way back into a safe position though.
Seamon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Seamon is working The Drunk over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Seamon content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because The Drunk has locked up a guillotine! The Drunk's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Seamon is holding on here and The Drunk must be using up a lot of energy. Seamon has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! The Drunk gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A relieved looking Dan The Drunk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
