Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Justice cracks Stepp with an open hand slap.
Stepp is looking to clinch.
Justice throws a front kick aimed at Stepp's knee but Stepp avoids it well.
Mark Stepp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Justice ducks under a wild hook from Stepp.
Stepp misses with an uppercut. Justice saw that one coming.
Some bone on bone action there as Stepp checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stepp darts in trying to clinch
and Justice counters with a left to the body.
Stepp wants to clinch

and Justice counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stepp's guard now.
Stepp keeping moving, preventing Justice from controlling successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Justice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stepp is keeping the position for now.
Justice with a flurry of punches that miss.
Stepp controls Justice momentarily but Justice frees himself.

Stepp pushes Justice off and gets back to his feet.
Stepp with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Justice to score with a decent uppercut.
Justice pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Justice throws a body punch but Stepp moves out of range.
Stepp takes one to the side of the head.
Justice misses with a hook.
Justice swats away the attempt to clinch by Stepp.
Justice throws a leg kick but Stepp sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Justice dips to his left and cracks Stepp with an uppercut!
Justice misses with a hook. Stepp ducked under it nicely.
Justice shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stepp eats them both and turns towards Justice to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stepp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Justice taking a breather.
Stepp misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stepp breaks from the clinch.
Justice cracks Stepp with a right hand to the side of the head.
Justice swats away the attempt to clinch by Stepp.

Stepp has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stepp misses with some punches.
Justice is trying to force a seperation but Stepp has the dominant position.

Justice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stepp tries to clinch there but Justice circles away.
Stepp walks into a stiff left hand from Justice.
Justice takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stepp tries to clinch
and Justice counters with a one-two to the body.


Stepp is rocked!


It looks like Mark Stepp has been cut.
Stepp tries to clinch up.
Stepp is still on wobbly legs! Can Justice finish him?
Justice scores with a shot to the body.
Justice closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Stepp! Justice dives in looking to finish! Stepp is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Justice!

Our winner, Jon Justice, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
