The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skantze Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.
Good exchange - Lee coming out on top.
Skantze Jr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee lands with an uppercut that bounces Skantze Jr off the cage and back into range.
Skantze Jr lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lee backs up against the cage.

Lee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Skantze Jr eats them both and turns towards Lee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lee is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Skantze Jr had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Skantze Jr looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Lee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skantze Jr has time to react.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Skantze Jr at a distance.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Skantze Jr.

Boby Lee dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Skantze Jr on the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lee scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Skantze Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Skantze Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A less than humble Boby Lee misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
