Dean Wakefield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wakefield avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wakefield thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wakefield connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off.
Silva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Wakefield tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wakefield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva ducks straight into an uppercut from Wakefield and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Silva manages to regain guard straight away.

Wakefield decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Silva is holding his hands too far apart here. Wakefield throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Silva is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
