Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Frein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Byler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Frein looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Frein fails to land the takedown.

Frein looking to score a takedown here. Byler is defending well but Frein drives through and ends up in Byler's guard.
Frein is breathing heavily.
Byler looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Byler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frein has managed to get both his arms back between Byler's legs - danger averted.
Frein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Byler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Frein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Frein won't allow Byler to sweep him here.

Frein drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Frein jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Byler manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Byler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Frein's guard.

Byler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Byler is nestled in close to Frein, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well Byler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
