Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuri Boyka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Durant!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka swings widly with a right hand
and Durant counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boyka slips a straight right by Durant.
Durant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boyka moves in looking to clinch but Durant pushes him off.
Durant scores with a head kick.
Kevin Durant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durant's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boyka under the eye.
Durant bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boyka's head backwards.
Boyka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Durant cracks Boyka with a right hand to the side of the head.

Boyka has managed to clinch.
Boyka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Durant lands with a light punch inside.
Durant keeps control of Boyka as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Durant gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Boyka might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Durant has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boyka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Durant had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boyka defends it easily.

Durant tries to get to full guard but Boyka has control of the leg.
It looks like Boyka is going to stand back up.
Durant has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boyka is working away from the top position though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boyka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Durant with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Durant is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boyka pulls his head out easily.

The crowd cheers as Durant lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boyka doesn't seem phased though.

Boyka wants to clinch up but Durant keeps it at a distance.
Boyka tries to close the distance and clinch but Durant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Horrible takedown by Durant or perhaps it was just good defense by Boyka which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Durant shoots in for a takedown but Boyka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Durant shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boyka's guard.

Durant has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boyka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Durant.

Boyka decides to stand back up. Boyka steps back and let's Durant get back to his feet.

and Boyka counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Boyka looks at the referee who does nothing so Boyka lands a crushing right that sends Durant to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
