The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothstien gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rothstien fails with the takedown
and Torgerson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Rothstien wants to clinch up but Torgerson keeps it at a distance.
Torgerson throws a hook but Rothstien avoids it easily.
Torgerson throws a big shot that misses.

Rothstien forces Torgerson back against the cage and clinches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Rothstien breaks from the clinch.
Torgerson avoids the body shot from Rothstien.
Rothstien tries to score a power double leg takedown but Torgerson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rothstien somewhat.
Torgerson misses with a hook. Rothstien ducked under it nicely.

Torgerson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mikal Torgerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Rothstien.
Torgerson cracks Rothstien with a right hand to the side of the head.

Rothstien gets a clinch.
Rothstien keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Torgerson's efforts to push away.
Torgerson is trying to break free.

Rothstien breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Torgerson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Rothstien to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Rothstien looks to clinch but Torgerson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Rothstien taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
