The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks misses with a two punch combination.

Price shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hicks is trying to defend but Price finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Price stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hicks swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hicks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hicks can't keep his opponent in guard - Price advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Price is breathing heavily.
Hicks is looking for a sweep. Price is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hicks is pressing down on Price's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hicks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Price's guard.
