Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Ardona.
Houk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Houk gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ardona.
Ardona checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ardona throws a right and a left that both miss.
Houk shoots for a takedown but Ardona saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Houk closes the distance and clinches.
Ardona is trying to break the clinch but Houk has him pressed against the cage.

Houk throws a low kick but Ardona moves out of range easily.
Ardona uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Houk has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ardona tries to circle away but Houk has him pinned against the cage.

Houk slips a jab and a cross from Ardona.
Ardona throws a nice looking combination but Houk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Houk closes the distance but Ardona moves to the side
and Ardona counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ardona changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Ardona lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ardona.

Houk is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Houk closes the distance and clinches up with Ardona, looking for a takedown. Houk pushes Ardona against the cage but Ardona circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Houk.
Houk throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ardona cracks Houk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Houk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ardona, pushing him back against the cage.
Houk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Houk jumps guard and drags Ardona to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ardona controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ardona stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Houk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ardona knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Houk on the ground.

Ardona misses with a double jab.
Ardona tries to bum rush Houk with a series of wild strikes but Houk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ardona thuds his right hand into Houk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ardona scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Houk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ardona moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Houk is still on wobbly legs! Can Ardona finish him?
Ardona connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Houk tumbling to the canvas! Ardona pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Houk was done - good stoppage!
