Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butter Bean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulk Hogan !
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hogan sprawls well. Hogan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bean gets slowly back to his feet.
Bean fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Bean counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Bean counters with a series of strikes that sends Hogan to the canvas! Bean follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bean drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hogan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bean has Hogan in his guard.

Bean is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hogan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hogan has escaped and now he's on top!

Bean is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hogan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bean dives on top into guard.
Bean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hogan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hogan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hogan !

Hogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hogan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hogan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bean has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hogan but great work by Bean.

Hogan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bean is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hogan , into his guard.

Bean pushes down on Hogan 's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Bean wants to work for an arm triangle but Hogan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bean is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hogan has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bean is looking for a kimura but Hogan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bean to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Butter Bean dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hogan tries for a takedown but Bean circles away easily
and Bean counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hogan moves forwards but Bean connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bean just misses with a punch to the body.
Bean connects with a nice cross there... Hogan is looking wobbly and Bean recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hogan to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Bean jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Butter Bean!
Butter Bean really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
