Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steffan Bonnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. rage against the machine,,cypress hill how i just kill a man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonnar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ricardo quickly recovers to half guard.

Bonnar has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ricardo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bonnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bonnar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ricardo scores with a decent looking hook.
Bonnar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Bonnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ricardo's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bonnar is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ricardo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ricardo shrugs it off.
Ricardo is looking to improve his position but Bonnar isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ricardo tries to keep at a distance but Bonnar has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bonnar lands a really nice looking cross but Ricardo seems unphased.
Ricardo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ricardo keeps the fight on the outside.
Ricardo misses with a hook. Bonnar ducked under it nicely.

Bonnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ricardo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bonnar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bonnar scores with a jab. Ricardo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
