Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Madman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Madman cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Black could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Madman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Black tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Madman smiles and moves away.
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Black. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Madman instigates a clinch.

Madman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Black after a bit of a struggle.

Madman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Black fights it off and pushes away nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Black moves into the clinch.

Black wants the takedown. Madman is fighting it off but Black persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Madman's guard against the cage.
Black connects with a couple of short punches.
Madman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Black would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Madman is looking to stand up but Black isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Madman closes the distance and pushes Black back into the cage.

Madman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Madman throws a head kick that Black semi-blocks.
Black shoots in looking for a takedown. Madman tries to sprawl out of it but Black keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Madman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Madman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Madman was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Madman can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
