The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black lands with a thumping leg kick.

Li closes the distance and clinches.
Li tries to circle away but Black has him pinned against the cage.
Black can't find room to land a body shot as Li controls the action.

Li's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Li has eaten all the pies!
Black lands a glancing blow to the side of Li's head.

It looks like Chong Li has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Black dips to his left and cracks Li with an uppercut!
Li looks for a takedown but Black sprawls well.
Black scores with a shot to the body.
Chong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Black wants it to stay on the feet.

Black moves into the clinch.
Black working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Black misses with a hook to the ribs.
Li tries to break the clinch but Black is controlling the position.
Black tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Li's elbow.
Black tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Black gets through Li's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Black blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Li can't break the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

That has opened up Chong Li's cut even more.

Black swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Black misses with some punches.

Black lands a left hand that snaps the head of Li backwards.
Black lands a knee to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Black.

Li is rocked!
Black creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Li's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Li drops to his knees and Black pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orphan Black!
