The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
mornar gets full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but mornar is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. mornar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

mornar tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jackson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jackson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! mornar screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jackson! Nice submission victory there!
