Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Nickoson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickoson ducks under a wild hook from Tananakis.
Nickoson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tananakis.
Tananakis tries a head kick but it misses.
Tananakis misses with a wild body shot.
Nickoson tests Tananakis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like George Tananakis has been cut.
Tananakis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nickoson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tananakis.
We've been hearing reports that Tananakis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tananakis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Nickoson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Tananakis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Tananakis throws a poor cross that misses
and Nickoson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Tananakis misses the target.
Nickoson throws a solid leg kick but Tananakis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nickoson.
Tananakis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nickoson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Nice takedown defense from Nickoson. No joy for Tananakis on that attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Tananakis is breathing heavily.
Nickoson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tananakis is defended easily by Nickoson.
Nickoson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Tananakis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Nickoson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Tananakis is left battered and dazed whilst Nickoson and his camp cheer!
