Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff throws a sloppy head kick and Nickoson moves out of range easily.
Nickoson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smiff connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Smiff gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nickoson.
Nickoson misses with a few strikes there.
Nickoson shoots in looking for a takedown but Smiff manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nickoson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Smiff checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Nickoson wants to free his trapped foot but Smiff is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Smiff is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Hellcademy, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Smiff gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've been informed that Nickoson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Smiff will probably get the nod.

Smiff feints and then cracks Nickoson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nickoson down.
