Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Bonney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fiedel Castro!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bonney did well to prevent Castro getting side control.
Bonney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Castro is working for a submission of some sort.

Castro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Bonney makes his way to full guard, as Castro worked for a kimura.
Castro throwing strikes from guard but Bonney blocks nicely.

Castro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bonney is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Castro, into his guard.
Bonney engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bonney is one step ahead there.

Castro looking for a guillotine here but Bonney defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bonney can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Castro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bonney defends it easily.
Bonney seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Castro is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bonney frees his head nicely. Oh but Castro has switched to an armbar! Bonney is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Fiedel Castro!
A relieved looking Fiedel Castro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
