Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manu Asce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Varjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Varjo has chosen Faith No More - Be aggressive as his entrance music. Manu Asce has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asce drives through and clinches with Varjo against the cage.

Asce in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Varjo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Asce's guard.

Varjo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Asce is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Varjo is looking to take a break and control but Asce is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Asce looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Varjo! Submission of the night perhaps?
