Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Duseki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Duseki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Malone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Duseki!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duseki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Malone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Malone moves into the clinch.
Malone tries to land knees in the clinch but Duseki avoids the damage to the body.
Duseki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Duseki lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Duseki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Malone has him pressed against the cage.
Duseki lands an elbow that stopped Malone in his tracks for a moment.
Malone with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Duseki breaks from the clinch.
Duseki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Malone circles away quickly and effectively.
Malone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Duseki has Malone up against the cage in a clinch.
Malone working hard to break the clinch.
Duseki tries to land knees in the clinch but Malone avoids the damage to the body.
Malone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Duseki is defending well for now.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Malone's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A short right from Duseki on the inside.
Malone tries to pull guard but Duseki forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Malone blocks an elbow strike.

Duseki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duseki punishes Malone's body with a nice straight punch.

Duseki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A slapping leg kick lands for Duseki.
Duseki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Malone. Malone circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Duseki misses with a series of wild punches.
Duseki misses with a head kick.

Malone gets a clinch.
Malone tries to pull guard but Duseki forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Malone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duseki pushes Malone back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Duseki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duseki lands a glancing blow to the side of Malone's head.
Jason Duseki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duseki is fending him off so far but Malone persists. Nope, Duseki circles away and we're back to standing.

Malone has closed the distance and engaged Duseki in a clinch.
Malone tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Duseki misses with a punch to the body.
Malone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Duseki gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Duseki presses Malone against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Duseki is trying to break free.

Malone manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Duseki is looking to stand up but Malone won't let him.

Malone looking for a guillotine here but Duseki defends easily.
Malone striking off his back but it's not causing Duseki any problems.
Duseki wants to stand and escape but instead Malone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Malone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Malone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Duseki wants to stand up but Malone is controlling him.
Malone content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Malone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Malone wants to pass the guard but Duseki is keeping the position.
Duseki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Malone controls the pace.
Malone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Malone prevents Duseki from getting back to his feet.
Duseki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Malone controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sam Malone just wasn't active enough.

Duseki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Duseki is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Duseki lands a hook that snaps the head of Malone backwards.

Duseki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Malone closes the distance and clinches.
Duseki wants to break free but Malone has control.

Malone is trying to force a seperation but Duseki has the dominant position.
Duseki prevents the takedown attempt.
Malone is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Duseki is defending well.
Malone wants to break the clinch but can't.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Duseki.
Malone jumps guard but Duseki turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Duseki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Malone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Duseki misses with a wild combination.
Malone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Duseki listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Malone avoids a punch combination nicely.
Duseki scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


Malone is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duseki cracks the inside of Malone's front leg.
Oh Malone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Malone throws a right hand that Duseki ducks under and follows up with a left that Duseki also avoids with ease.
Malone seems to have got his legs back now.
Duseki keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Duseki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Duseki dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Duseki is trying to push Malone away but Malone has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Malone is working for takedown but Duseki is calmly controlling the position for now.
Malone jumps guard but Duseki stands there with Malone around his waist. Malone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Duseki gets through Malone's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Malone is working for takedown but Duseki is calmly controlling the position for now.
Malone dodges an elbow strike from Duseki.
Malone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Duseki.
Malone changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Duseki fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Duseki has managed to clinch.

Duseki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duseki lands a slapping body shot.
Malone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duseki circles away quickly and effectively.

Duseki moves into the clinch.
Duseki softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Malone wants to take the fight to the mat but Duseki manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Duseki gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Malone.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Duseki wants to break free but Malone has control.
A right hand to the body from Duseki.
Duseki misses with an elbow over the top.
Malone fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Duseki blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Still in the clinch, Duseki scores with a nice short uppercut.
Malone fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Duseki lands a body punch.
Duseki utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Malone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Malone seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Duseki shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Malone is backing up but Duseki catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Malone covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Duseki Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Duseki!
Jason Duseki gave a mention to Red Square Supplements in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
