Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mel Odios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoshi Kishida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mel Odios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Satoshi Kishida!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odios looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Kishida closes the distance and clinches.
Odios takes a knee to the side of the body.
Odios has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kishida avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kishida pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kishida shoots in looking for a takedown. Odios tries to sprawl out of it but Kishida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Odios manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kishida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Odios tries to keep at a distance but Kishida has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kishida gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Odios regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kishida gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Odios changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kishida tries to avoid it but Odios manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kishida to the ground. Kishida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Satoshi Kishida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kishida clinches up with Odios and pushes him back against the cage.

Kishida lands an elbow inside that Odios shrugs off.

Kishida breaks the clinch.
Kishida shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Odios fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Odios dives in for a single leg takedown but Kishida sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kishida gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Kishida pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Odios shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kishida as he avoids it easily.
Odios tries to close the distance and clinch but Kishida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Satoshi Kishida has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kishida is breathing heavily.

Kishida looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Kishida wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Odios, who protects the arm well.

Odios can't do much from the bottom here.

Kishida is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Odios has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kishida has hold of Odios's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Odios manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kishida looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Odios is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Odios manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Odios wants to control but Kishida is keeping busy.

Satoshi Kishida showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kishida is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Odios off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Odios wants to control the position but Kishida frees himself and scrambles - Odios manages to regain control in side control.

Odios wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kishida keeps working.

Odios tries for a kimura but Kishida is defending well.
Mel Odios has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Satoshi Kishida is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Odios misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Satoshi Kishida.
Well Kishida has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
